Problem:
Consumers Energy needs to publish the Gas and Electric Rates to the Web as requested by the MPSC.

Solution:
The data is already into a Lotus Notes Database. However the formatting is such that it does not render correctly in HTML. The Java-based jDoc is used to render the Notes documents, a PDF version is created as well. A Visual Basic application accesses the Notes object store via OLE and creates the Java classes and the PDF files for publication.
